Photography has always been my favorite way to turn moments into memories. Whether I’m chasing a creative idea, documenting the people I love, or simply finding beauty in the little things, my camera has become my favorite form of self-expression.
In August 2023, I took a leap and turned that passion into Suns on Film. What started as a creative outlet has grown into something I genuinely can’t imagine my life without. Since then, I’ve fallen even more in love with capturing the real, the candid, the messy, the beautiful, and everything in between.

Fun Facts
Im Jae
I was born in Niceville, Florida and have moved all over the US and lived abroad in Italy. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably in the kitchen, creating content, getting dressed up for a night out, or somewhere by the water. I’m a big lover of good food, sunshine, my friends, and anything that keeps life feeling fun.
Photography
I love meeting new clients and truly becoming friends with them. Photography allows me to express myself creatively, while also letting my clients feel truly beautiful. This is the best job I can ask for because it never feels like hard work.
Why Photography?
Since I was 12 I have been taking photos of everything. I always enjoyed taking photos or dressing up and having photos taken of myself. In 2023 I decided to start Suns on Film as a fun instagram to post photos of friends and it turned into a business I can't live without.
MY goal
My ultimate goal with Suns on Film is to create work that feels genuine and true to who my clients are. I want you to look at your photos and feel beautiful and thoughtfully captured.
